What changes
Managed by the school
A school gets one or more administrators. An administrator handles the following in GraidLens:
Inviting colleagues with a code or an invitation link, with a maximum number of users and an end date.
An overview of which teachers are linked to the school.
A standard turnaround time: within how many days a test should be marked and returned.
A log of who changed what in the management settings.
Viewing teachers' questions to the helpdesk.

How schools get started
Working together in a department
A teacher can share a class with a colleague, who can then view and mark along, for example for a joint test or when covering for a colleague.
Each teacher keeps their own account, their own tests and their own question bank. There is no central question bank for the whole department.

Data protection
Privacy and agreements
The school is the data controller for students' data. GraidLens is the processor. For that, the school signs a data processing agreement with us; request it via dpa@graidlens.eu. The agreement also lists which parties process data on our behalf, where and with which safeguards.
Reading and marking are done by an AI service provider. That processing may take place outside the EU. The database and files are stored in Europe.
A grade is never set automatically. The teacher approves it. That is also what Article 22 of the GDPR requires for decisions about people.

Try it on your next test.
Create an account, set up a test and let GraidLens mark a few students. The first time, mark them yourself as well and compare.
